Retreiving the Xero ID of an Existing Customer

NOTE:  This process is no longer required, as customers can now be selected from a dropdown box in Portal.



If you've already created a customer in Xero and want to bind them to your rebilling system with Neural - you'll need to obtain the Xero contact ID number from your Xero account.


To do so, please follow these steps...

  1. log in to Xero
  2. Select Contacts ->  All Contacts
  3. Click on the company name of the customer
  4. Copy the "contactID" value from the URL in the address bar as below...




Once copied, please paste this into the appropriate field for the customer in Portal under Rebilling Options on the customers account.
