FreePBX Configuration Example

To configure your FreePBX for Neural business VoIP, please set it up as follows:

 

Create a new trunk under Connectivity > Trunks. Replace all instances of (TrunkNo) and (TrunkNumber) below with your Neural device number (09XXXXX) and (TrunkPassword) with the Neural device password. These can be found under the devices tab in VoIP Commander

In order for CallerID to be readable on the end device, rather than showing as private, it may be necessary to restamp your callerID name field. This can be achieved by setting the following under Applications > Set CallerID and creating a new rule with the following settings:

Set CallerID name to ${CALLERID(num)} and the destination to the Neural trunk you created above.

 

We recommend you specify the codecs your handsets will use to correspond with the followin, to ensure no codec negotiation issues arise.
